Ricardo Ortega. Partner at Taxpertise on Mexico City office. He has over 31 years of experience in Corporate Tax Law and Tax Planning.

 

His main areas of expertise include:

 

  • Tax advice on Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Foreign Trade, as well as on consolidation for tax purposes.

  • International Tax with effective use of tax treaties to avoid double taxation and foreign investments in Mexico. Reorganizations: mergers, acquisitions, spin off, due diligences.

His studies focus in optimizing of taxes payments on acquisitions and sale of businesses, mergers and spin offs, tax planning for new investments in Mexico, reducing tax burden of Profit Sharing for the employees, foreign trade, etc.

Over his career, Ricardo has spent significant time working with the following industries: manufacturing, consumer products and services.
