Prior to joining Taxpertise, José Luis was Central Administrator of Transfer Pricing Strategy Development at the General Administration of Large Taxpayers of the Tax Administration Service. (Tax Authority) and before that he also worked in “Big Four” firms where he acquired extensive experience.

His focus and expertise lie in risk modeling, consulting in audits of the matter, as well as compliance and preparation of transfer pricing studies through specialization in the review of taxpayers’ compliance in transfer pricing analysis for income tax purposes.

He has also been involved in restructuring matters through mergers, spin-offs and acquisitions. Additionally, he has actively worked in the review and preparation of valuations of intangible assets.

As part of his experience as a Tax Authority, José Luis developed and conducted extensive research in different industries in the following sectors manufacturing, distribution, consumption, services, real estate, as well as in the analysis of DEMPE (Development, Enhancement, Maintenance, Protection and Exploitation) functions related to intangible assets.
